Approach
I take a creative, resourceful approach to interior design, and I love encouraging people to work with what they've already got — whether that's reimagining a room, giving new life to a tired piece of furniture, or learning a new skill through one of my lampshade-making or fabric-printing workshops. My style is friendly, collaborative and tailored to you, but the goal is always the same: to help you create a home that feels deeply personal, represents the very best of you, and truly supports the way you want to live.
Background
I started out as a teacher, which gave me a lasting love of both sharing knowledge and learning new things myself. After training in upholstery and furniture painting, I began selling vintage and up-cycled homewares — first at fairs and markets, then from my own shop. It didn't take long to realise that my real joy wasn't just the pieces themselves, but styling the spaces around them to show them off at their best. A year later, I completed a Diploma in Professional Interior Design from the National Design Academy, and I've been using my flair for colour and styling to help others create homes that bring them joy ever since.
Influences
My style is calm, harmonious and timeless, shaped by a deep appreciation for the outdoors and it's often nature that influences the colours, textures and materials I reach for.
With our impact on the planet a more important consideration than ever, sustainability guides many of my choices and I like to consider all the options before simply replacing everything or buying new. Where possible repurposing what we have or using vintage or pre-loved pieces supports this beautifully. Not only does it bring a layer of individuality and unexpected charm to your home that nothing mass-produced ever quite manages - it's also much kinder to your budget and the planet.
